ISOC Finland was founded in 1994 as the Finnish Internet Association and chartered as an Chapter of the Internet Society in 1999. Our mission is to increase awareness of the Internet and constructive and responsible ways to use it. As part of the international Internet community we do our part to assure the open development, evolution and use of the Internet for the benefit of all people throughout the world.
The organisational home for ISOC Finland is Suomen Internet-yhdistys (the Finnish Internet Association) which is a member of the Finnish Information Processing Association - FIPA.
